Welcome to August 2023

Ever wonder why we dream? I’m not referring to the alleged scientific reasons that seem to be outside the dreamer. I mean the reasons for dreams that both serve their host in the present and future. For example, analyzing your dreams is called Oneirocriticism, and using dreams to predict the future is called Oneiromancy. Determining how to read your dreams depends on how well you know yourself and your culture. And because dreams utilize hieroglyphs (symbols, pictures, and logograms), only you will understand your subconscious messaging.

For instance, dreaming about past crushes could be annoying, especially when you’ve thought you’ve moved on and your subconscious reminds you that you’re still in the same place. And while you may be tempted to let your fingers do the walking and reach out and touch the star of your dreams – maybe that isn’t the best response. Perhaps, if you try this instead, you’ll determine what solution your dreams offer you.
