If Wi-Fi is down on your flight, can you catch up on all your emails and reading as planned?
The answer is yes if you’ve forwarded your important documents to your Kindle or Kindle app via your Amazon Kindle email.
If you haven’t used your Amazon Kindle email – that doesn’t mean you don’t have one. From the “Send-to-kindle” page on Amazon.com:
- Don’t worry if this is your first time using your Amazon Kindle email. It’s easy to find. Just visit the ‘Manage your Devices’ page at Manage Your Kindle, and you’ll see your Send-to-Kindle email address right there. It’s that simple.
- Kindle devices or apps only accept documents from email accounts that you’ve added to your Approved Personal Document Email List.
- Adding an email account to your Approved Personal Document Email List is a breeze. You can access your documents from multiple sources by visiting the ‘Personal Document Settings’ page at Manage Your Kindle.
You don’t need a Kindle to use this feature; download the Kindle app to your smartphone or tablet, and you’re in business. Once you download documents before your flight, they’ll be accessible to you with or without a Wi-Fi connection.
