Midwestern artist Sophie O’Dea (Lexi Giovagnoli) is in her last year of high school and makes a birthday wish. A Hollywood heartthrob, Drake (Calum Worthy), lands in her town, and his appearance and their budding friendship help her appreciate her talent and see her artwork from a different perspective. The Rom-Com “All She Wishes” (2015) is sweet, but the film’s message is a powerful reminder that art is self-expression that deserves a unique platform.
