Oh Stewardess: Coffee, Tea and Dental Work on the Fly.

It was the last leg of a 3-day flight assignment and during lunch I bit down on something and ended up with a cracked tooth. My misfortune turned into a learning experience because my flying partner told me La Guardia Airport (LGA) in New York has a dentist on premise.

When I deplaned, you guessed it; I went into the terminal’s upper concourse and straight to the dentist.   The best part was he could see me on short notice and took my dental insurance.

So, the next time you’re in an airport,  know there’s more than just places to eat. You can get your hair cut and styled, clothes dry-cleaned and even a temporary dental crown, if necessary.
